Chicken and waffles have arrived at KFC nationwide! Are you here for the fast food chain giving this iconic combo a whirl?

Well, before you knock it, here’s what to expect from the meal: Customers can choose between KFC's extra crispy chicken or extra crispy chicken tenders, drizzled with Mrs. Butterworth's syrup starting at $5.49. Um, yes please!

"Our famous extra crispy, savory fried chicken atop a Belgian Liege-style waffle, with the finishing touch of classic Mrs. Butterworth's syrup, makes for a scrumptious dish I'd put up against versions at upscale restaurants, but we're offering it at a price just about anyone can afford," said KFC's U.S. chief marketing officer Andrea Zahumensky in a statement.

KFC’s chicken and waffles are already on sale at nearly 4,200 restaurants across the U.S. but only available through Dec. 31 so get ‘em while they’re hot!

If noshing on chicken and waffles from a fast food chain is too much for you to handle, also available is a sandwich with KFC's Hot Honey fried chicken breast fillet between two waffles ($5.99).
