Cynthia Bailey, Nene Leakes And More ATL Housewives Attend Eva Marcille's 'Flower Child'-Themed Baby Shower
On Saturday (Sept. 14), Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey pulled out all the stops to create the perfect "Flower Child"-themed baby shower for her reality show co-star Eva Marcille.
From floral décor by Elizabeth Associates to a star-studded guest list, the baby shower appeared to have gone without a hitch for the 34-year-old mom of three, who is expecting her second child with her husband, Michael Sterling Sr.
Admitting she wasn’t initially excited about having yet another baby shower, Eva said she’s sincerely thankful for the flowery outdoor mixer thrown in honor of “Baby Maverick.”
“Pardon me I must say initially I was not super excited about having a baby shower considering this is my third child,” Eva captioned an Instagram selfie before the shower. “However, waking up this morning I’m super excited and it is my joy to celebrate the welcoming of my newest Flower Child ‘Baby Maverick.’ The Sterling clan gets a little bit bigger. Thank you @iamlovely2 @cynthiabailey10 and @ellybevents for making this all possible🌻 @Iambarbielee on the beat.”
Posed amid a backdrop of sunflowers by The Celebration Station, Eva, who was fabulously adorned with a floral crown, happily snapped a photo with the day’s gracious hostess.
“My love, My Ace, My Girl @cynthiabailey10 words can’t express my appreciation for our friendship,” Eva captioned the photo before adding, “I adore you on so many levels and I’m so happy to call you my FRIEND🌻 love you to the moon and back.”
Speaking of friends, several of Eva’s RHOA co-stars attended, including Kandi Burruss, Porsha Williams and Marlo Hampton — even Cynthia’s former bestie Nene Leakes showed up with smiles and giggles.
“Just making sure flower child knows what the Leakes gav’em🌻😂,” Nene jokingly captioned a photo, showing herself writing her name on a wrapped gift.
With the help of event planner Eliana B., the mom-to-be and her attendees enjoyed a fabulous sit-down lunch with catered food by Chef Delroy Christian along with sweet treats by CamiCakes.
Showing off her adorable baby bump in a stylish off-the-shoulder white maxi dress, Eva summed up the event with a series of photos on her Instagram.
“My shower was so bomb!!! So much love, so much support!!! Just a few pics but so many more memories,” she wrote.
Congratulations to the Sterling family! We are positive big siblings Michael Todd Jr., 1-year-old, and 5-year-old Marley Rae are thrilled about the new addition.
