Michael B. Jordan Has A List Of Must-Haves In A Woman, Plus A Surprisingly Simplistic Idea For Date Night
Michael B. Jordan may have just earned the moniker of the Sexiest Man Alive, but that doesn’t mean that the eligible bachelor hasn’t fantasized about settling down with the woman of his dreams.
Opening up about his love life and hopes for the future, the Creed star recently did a video interview with People to accompany the cover story for the magazine’s latest issue. During the brief chat, the family-focused actor revealed exactly what he’s looking for in his future wife, along with details about his ideal date night that’s surprisingly simplistic.
For Michael, the perfect woman starts with someone who is well-grounded, open-minded, and family-oriented (like himself). "Somebody that’s nurturing. I’ve got a list," he explains. "That’s probably why my a** is still single, but yeah, it’s a list."
Other notable personality traits include: having "a sense of humor, [and] true understanding, because [an actor’s] life is not conducive to a relationship—it’s really not."
With hopes of being a family man, the 33-year-old admits having married friends and family members adds pressure to his dreams of marriage. “Having people who are married around me, a running theme is 'You know when you know.' And it’s one of the most frustrating things to hear as somebody who’s single,” he reveals. “I kind of thought I knew four or five times, and that didn’t really work out too well for me.”
While work is currently his first priority, the actor has faith that when the time is right, he’ll meet his special someone. Until then, he has a perfect date night planned.
"The perfect date night for me would be the freedom to go wherever I wanted in public, [and] not worry about paparazzi," he says. "Enjoy somebody’s company. Go for a drive, dope playlist. Drive somewhere just for dessert. I’m definitely a movie guy, and then I’d ride the vibe for the rest of the night."
Ahh, so there you have it ladies. We don’t know about you, but it definitely sounds like a romantic date to us!
