If you didn’t tune in to watch Marlo Hampton stirring the tea on The Real Housewives of Atlanta and I Dream of Nene: The Wedding, you surely watched to see what the fashion guru was wearing while she did it. Now, Hampton is bringing her style secrets to her adoring public.
Hampton kicks off her multi-city seminar, aptly titled “The Art of Style,” in New York City on Saturday, May 16 from 2 p.m.- 4 p.m. at Punto Space (325 West 38th Street). There, her affectionately dubbed “divas” and “divos” will get the scoop on her wardrobe must-haves, advice for “ballin’ on a budget,” accessorizing for your personality, exclusive tips for aspiring professional stylists, an audience Q&A, and more. A second date in Atlanta has been announced for June 4.
"There is not a day that goes by that I am not asked to share my fashion secrets, whether it be via social media or in person, my fans want the tea," said Hampton in a statement. "I felt that it was time to share the art of style with my loyal fans and those that want to elevate their overall look."
Hampton previously owned an upscale boutique in Atlanta and notably styled some the city’s biggest stars. She’s also the founder of Glam It UP! Organization, which is dedicated to encouraging girls ages 13-17 in the foster care system to excel. Beautiful and compassionate? A girl after our own hearts!
Tickets for “The Art of Style” seminar range from $125-$150 and are on sale now.
