Nicki Minaj and Beyoncé's Street Style Is Unreal in 'Feeling Myself' Music Video

Pretty on fleek.

Published May 19, 2015

There were so many memorable style moments from this year’s Coachella Music Festival. If you ask Nicki Minaj and Beyoncé, however, the real fun happened behind the scenes, and they’re graciously giving us a look into their escapades in their new clip for “Feeling Myself,” released Monday exclusively on Jay Z’s Tidal streaming service.

And, of course, their pretty stayed on fleek. “Feelin’ Myself,” which appears on Nicki's The Pinkprint album, was shot entirely at Coachella in Indio Valley, Calif., and follows the superstars through the most epic girl hang in recorded history. Think: a massive house party, feeding each other burgers at the Neon Carnival and a very luxe kiddie pool (more on that in a minute).

And then there’s the must-see sartorial moments only Nicki and Bey could pull off. They include the pair rocking oversized black-and-white Philipp Plein "Warrior" fur jerseys and matching fur jackets, American Apparel knee-high socks and Dr. Martens "Jadon" 8-eye boots as they post up against a hot rod and a sweet scene where they primp adorably in the bathroom mirror together (you know, basically how you spend Saturday nights with your BFF).

Nicki is also seen winding her famous assets with her backup dancers in a mesh "Pervert" jersey from Givenchy and Giuseppe Zanotti fringe lace-up ankle boots. She also flaunts her abs in a Di$count Univer$e “Beetle Juice” turtleneck crop top and Off White by Virgil Abloh distressed-print shorts while she bosses out with Bey (who wears a hooded, leaf-print windbreaker from Off White by Virgil Abloh) beneath the Coachella Valley city limits sign.

For her part, Bey spends much of the video in colorful one-piece swimsuits, including a skeleton-print Adidas x Rita Ora O-Ray bodysuit, teamed with Bee Line for Billionaire Boys Club x Timberland 6-inch boots and custom gold Apple Watch Edition. At a house party scene, swaying seductively with a drink in hand, Bey turns up in a Crooks & Castles bucket hat and Post Game Ol’ Dirty Bastard hockey jersey.

But we can’t leave off the crowning gem, a scene where Bey (wearing a custom Chicago Bulls jersey swimsuit by Timothy White, pink Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2010 fur coat, and Miansai bracelets) and Nicki (in a towel-print swimsuit by Moschino, Seville Michelle rose gold Italian leather door knocker earrings, Jennifer Fisher “Cray” cuffs and a bubblegum-hued Chloé fox fur coat) sunbathe in a half-filled kiddie pool, squirting plastic water guns at the camera.

So, what have we learned here? That we can all step up our festival style game beyond fringe and flower crowns, for starters. While Tidal is still trying to find its footing in the digital marketplace, we’re willing to bet that the #OOTD inspiration in this video alone is enough to drive interest. Well played, Hov.
