Ever wonder how the stars keep their legs looking so toned on the red carpet? Yes, we’re sure there’s a fair amount of squats involved, but it turns out they’re likely getting some help from some strategically placed body bronzer (more on that in a bit). And I’ve discovered what could be the Holy Grail of the bunch.
Prtty Peaushun Skin Tight Body Lotion ($39) has been dubbed “Photoshop in a bottle” thanks to its subtle light-reflecting particles and rich emollient base that gives skin an incredible glow. Developed by Hollywood makeup artist Bethany Karlyn, the all-natural, vegan formula features avocado butter and Japanese green tea extract. It's fragrance-free and free of harsh synthetic chemicals, to boot.
When you smooth it on, you’ll instantly feel the most decadent surge of moisture, but no greasy after-feel. The lotion is relatively thick, and its natural plant extracts made my skin feel firmer. It's also ideal for diminishing the appearance of cellulite, stretch marks, varicose veins and uneven skin tone. It’s no wonder why stars like Rita Ora, Serena Williams and Nicole Richie have made it their go-to.
Prtty Peaushun comes in five different shades (Deep Dark, a cocoa bronze hue, was created specifically at the request of Rihanna), and the color didn’t transfer to my clothing, even when wearing white. Total win, right?
Now, for the technique. Smooth Prtty Peaushun down the middle of your thighs and down your shins and calves for an instant slimming effect like the stars, but trust me, the formula looks ravishing from head-to-toe.
