Alexis McGill Johnson

The executive director of the American Values Institute, a non-profit responsible for analyzing racially charged bias and anxiety in our society, Alexis McGill is a political strategist and writer. A former executive director for Diddy's Citizen Change and political director for Russell Simmon's Hip Hop Summit — both youth-based voting initiatives — the seasoned political/social activist is a regular commentator on programs like CNN, Fox News and MSNBC. Alexis also serves as chair of the board for the Planned Parenthood Federation of America.
