Earnest Pugh

Singer Earnest Pugh got his start performing with the gospel group O'landa Draper & the Associates, but interrupted his career to serve with the United States Army. After being discharged, the Memphis, Tennessee-native returned to the stage as a solo act, and released his first album, Earnest Pugh Live: A Worshipper's Perspective, in 2006. His 2009 project, Live: Rain on Us, featured the #1 single "Rain on Us," which was on the Gospel Songs chart for 50 weeks. His five-octave vocal range sent his 2011 album, Earnestly Yours, soaring to #1 on Billboard's Gospel Albums chart.
