Jacki-O, born Angela Kohn, is a Miami rapper of Haitian descent. Before she ever dropped her first real single, 2003’s sex-laced “Nookie,” Jacki-O started to make a name with The Official Bootlegg mixtape. Her rapping style garnered comparisons to her fellow female Miami rapper Trina. She released her first album, Poe Little Rich Girl, the following year and received back-to-back BET Awards nominations for Best Female Hip Hop performer. She is also the author of the 2008 urban novel Grown & Gangsta.
