Marc H. Morial



As president of the National Urban League since 2003, Marc H. Morial oversees the largest and oldest community based organization of its kind. Under his stewardship he expanded the Urban League’s empowerment agenda, which has grown to emphasize economic gaps between the races. Before helming the Urban League, Morial served in the Louisiana state senate in 1992 and as Mayor of New Orleans from 1994 to 2002.
