Sean Garrett

This Atlanta-born, musical triple threat is known more for the mega-hits he’s written for others than for anything he’s put out himself. Most notably, he penned Usher’s “Yeah,” Nicki Minaj’s “Massive Attack,” and Ciara’s breakout track, “Goodies.” And as part of a production duo with Swizz Beatz, Garrett has produced several Beyoncé hits, including “Ring the Alarm” and “Video Phone.” As a military kid, Garrett grew up in Germany and England, where he performed in talent shows before entering the music business as a songwriter. In 2008, he released his debut album, Turbo 919 and, in 2011, he dropped the single “Grippin” from his forthcoming LP, Courtesy Of.
