Donovan McNabb Sentenced to 18 Days in Jail for DUI Conviction

Ex-NFL star quarterback pleads guilty to June incident.

Donovan McNabb's DUI arrest in June is going to cost him.

TMZ Sports is reporting that the former NFL star quarterback was sentenced Friday to 18 days in county jail after pleading guilty to his DUI arrest this summer.

As part of the sentence, McNabb will also spend an additional 72 days in home detention following his jail term and will have to complete 30 hours of community service. In addition, he'll have to undergo counseling after home detention, unsupervised probation until he completes his sentence and have to pay a $6342.23 fine.

This comes after McNabb was arrested for DUI in Arizona this past June, when he crashed into a car stopped at a red light. His blood-alcohol content was more than double the legal limit, according to TMZ.

The incident marked the second time that McNabb was convicted of DUI within the past two years.
