Four childhood friends from the inner city of Southern California - Lida 'Stony' Newsom (played by Jada Pinkett-Smith), Cleopatra 'Cleo' Sims (played by Queen Latifah), Francesca 'Frankie' Sutton (played by Vivica A. Fox) and Tisean 'T.T.' Williams (played by Kimberly Elise) all suffer for lack of money and take to robbing banks.

Soon the stolen money starts to get to some of their heads and each woman's taste begins to change. It doesn't take long until the women become suspicious of each other and the real robbery begins! Which woman will lose it all?
