Horrifying: Dylann Roof's Prison Attacker Reveals the Exact Comment That Sparked His Rage

He deserved more than a few punches for this.

Last week Dwayne Stafford made news after attacking mass shooter Dylann Roof in a prison shower. Since the attack, 26-year-old Stafford has been released on $100,000 bond after being hailed as a hero and given donations for his brave actions. Since his release, Stafford has come forward to tell the reason why he brutally beat Roof, and it seems his actions were more than justified.

"He [Roof] said something like, 'I thought I killed the girl, the little girl, but they was like she didn't get killed," he said. "And I was like, 'No you didn't get her. She played dead on you from what I heard." Adding, "That's when I gave him the smart aleck, saying like you so bad but you let that child get off on you."

Stafford continued to say that during his time in prison, he would speak to Roof often through his cell door, trying to understand the mass murderer's motives. "I basically approached him in a way like, 'What's going on with you?' Like, 'You couldn't find nothing else better to do?'"

As Stafford and Roof began to speak more regularly, security guards believed that Stafford was not a threat to the racist killer. But when Stafford had the opportunity to teach Roof a lesson, he took it. "I can't say he deserved to die because I'm not a judge but I had the power to bust his a**," Stafford said.

Black Collective sat down with Stafford and has shared a sneak peek of the upcoming interview.

As Stafford is now on bond, it is possible he will end up behind bars again for his armed robbery charges, but it is being reported that Roof's lawyers do not intend to press charged for the prison attack.

While Stafford admits that he cannot condemn Roof to death, the judges certainly can, as Roof is facing the death penalty for the massacre that took place over a year ago.
