This Brand Is Suing Rihanna for Trademark Infringement

Uh-oh, looks like being a bad gal is not so good.

Our favorite Bad Gal is in hot water over a trademark infringement conflict. Kiss Nail Products Inc. filed paperwork challenging Rihanna, the owner and manager of her intellectual property, and the company that makes her perfumes, citing "willful trademark infringement, false designation of origin, and unfair competition."

Kiss Nail Products is basically not down with the name of RiRi's latest fragrance, called "Kiss."

Honestly, doesn't seem like a big deal to us. "Kiss It Better," of course, belongs to Rih.

Kiss Nail Products claims Rihanna's camp “[has] without authorization deliberately and willfully infringed Kiss’s KISS Mark by manufacturing, distributing, selling, marketing, and/or promoting the Infringing Kiss Fragrance, and continue to do so … with the intent of trading on the goodwill and reputation of Kiss, and with full knowledge of, and in conscious disregard of, Kiss’s rights.”

I mean Kiss isn't that unique of a name, but I guess we would like the opportunity to get my hands on some Rihanna money if I were legally entitled to it.

Can't they all just kiss and make up?
