Shereé Whitfield Asks For Relationship Advice From Phaedra Parks' Ex-Husband Apollo Nida

Sunday’s episode of 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' was full of surprises.

This Sunday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta was full of surprises. The biggest moment of the night was certainly Shereé Whitfield reuniting with Apollo Nida, the ex-husband of former RHOA star Phaedra Parks.

The She by Shereé designer said in her confessional, "Apollo and I have always been good friends, but we lost contact when he went to prison. Since he's been home, we've communicated on and off, but I wanted to meet up with him in person because I needed some advice about Tyrone."

The old pals sat together for a heart-to-heart after years of not seeing one another, discussing everything from helping Nida bring his sexy back to relationship traumas.

"It was good while it was good, then we just kind of cut it off," Whitfield explained about her complicated relationship with Tyrone Gilliams. "Fast forward maybe six years, while he was in prison we talked about anything and everything and that's what we were lacking when he was out."

During the episode, Nida divulged that he and Gilliams crossed paths in the prison system. Nida explained, “I ran into Tyrone while I was in the system. He told me you guys were dating, and I'm like, 'Okay, whatever.' He's like, 'That's my girl.'"

Whitfield seemingly knew Nida would understand her perspective around her tumultuous relationship with Gilliams, especially since most of their relationship occurred while her ex-boo was incarcerated

"I'll admit, I fell in love with the guy," Whitfield revealed. "I thought I was going to be with him for the rest of my life."

The mommy mogul later detailed to Nia how Gilliams "ghosted" her and how it was "humiliating."

Nida followed up by recalling his similar experiences with his ex-wife Phaedra Parks. He explained, “When my ex left me, she left me to basically die. Phaedra left me to basically rot. When it first happened, she wasn't there. My sentencing, she wasn't there. My self-surrendering, she wasn't there. Basically not allowing me to see my children. There were a lot of things that showed me that she wasn't there for me."

When Nida said he will always be there to support Whitfield, the RHOA star wasted no time calling in the favor, “I do need something. I've got a show coming up, and I've actually added men. Would you be interested in being one of the male models?"

And while he hesitated at first, he agreed to walk in her fashion show since he “might have some sexy left” in him.
