Beyoncé's Stylist Has Some Makeover Tips for the Presidential Candidates

How to #slay on the campaign trail.

The man who helps Beyoncé slay has turned his attention to the would-be leaders of the free world.

Ty Hunter, Bey's longtime stylist, and NYLON joined forces for a fun video to discuss the style of Democratic and Republican presidential frontrunners, and Ty has a lot of ideas on how to up their game in the fashion department.

First, Ty covers Hillary Clinton’s look. “Hillary’s style in one to three words, there’s only one word: Hillary. Hillary is Hillary. Her style is unique; she stamped that.” He continued to say that he knows Hillary is a fan of suits, but he would “lose the blazer and put her in a dress…kind of shock the world.”

Ty then moves on to Ted Cruz’s style, saying, “It’s all over the place. I think he just gets up and goes.” When asked what he would put Cruz in for a runway event, Hunter responded, “I don’t even see him going to a runway event.” For his casual wear, Hunter emphasized the importance of tube socks.

Styling Bernie Sanders, Ty said the candidate is “simple, and cool and clean,” adding that “Gucci could do really nice for him.” For a casual look, he said would put Bernie in “Dockers, a college shirt, white, oversized, washed to the softest of softest, and loafers.”

Finally, Donald Trump. Where to begin with Trump? Hunter started out by saying that no one even pays attention to his clothes because “his hair is his signature.” For the catwalk, Hunter would put Trump in an Armani suit and no tie. For the weekend, Hunter would have Trump wearing a vintage “We Are the World” tee.

Secretary of Style, anyone?
