Alabama Man Pleads Guilty to Tweeting Obama Threat

Jarvis Britton faces up to five years in jail and a $250,000 fine after pleading guilty to tweeting a threat to kill President Obama.

The limitations of 140 characters likely makes many people think before they tweet. That definitely wasn't the case with Jarvis Britton, a 25-year-old Birmingham, Alabama, resident who pleaded guilty on Monday to tweeting threats against President Obama, WVTM-TV reports.

"Let's kill the president. F.E.A.R.," he tweeted on Sept. 14, 2012.

F.E.A.R. stands for Forever Enduring Always Ready and is a national militia group.
Britton, who was indicted last September, faces up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine. He will be sentenced in June.
