Report: Floyd Mayweather Witnessed Earl Hayes's Murder-Suicide

Boxer saw it unfold on FaceTime, 50 Cent sends condolences.

Tragic news for Floyd Mayweather Jr. and his Money Team crew.

TMZ reports that the undefeated boxing champion was in a FaceTime session with rapper Earl Hayes, when he shot and killed his wife, Stephanie Moseley, and then himself in their Los Angeles apartment.

According to sources that spoke with the celebrity news website, Mayweather was pleading with his friend to not use violence, but bared witness to the horrifying crime. Allegedly, Hayes, 34, was irate about an alleged affair that Moseley, 30, had with an entertainer. Sources add that Mayweather is extremely disturbed by what he witnessed.

The news quickly spread to Mayweather’s former best friend, 50 Cent, who had worked with Hayes.

“RIP Hayes, @floydmayweather you are my little brother. All can think about is what you said to me up stairs. Don't you ever do nothing to your self no matter what champ. We can fall out and fight or what ever, but I don't want to see you go out like that. #SMSAUDIO #POWER #FRIGO.”

Mayweather quickly re-posted Fif’s message.

Hayes was trying to find his footing as a rapper and was once signed to Mayweather's Money Team Records. Moseley appeared on VH1's Hit the Floor and was a background dancer for Chris BrownRihanna and others.

Condolences for both have been pouring in.
