Bobby Brown was set to put on his dancing shoes and join the cast of a major celebrity competition series. However, he backed out of the opportunity at the very last minute without any explanation, thus far.

According to Us Weekly, the New Edition member was slated to be a part of the next season of Dancing With the Stars, and was confirmed on the roster, but his rehearsals were shut down in the final hour. 

"Bobby Brown was originally slated to be on this new season of DWTS, but recently pulled out," a source told the magazine.

As of right now, there is no solid reason behind his cancellation.

Though he won't be putting on his dancing shoes for the show, Brown did turn it out on the BET Awards 2017 stage. Take a look, and reminisce in the BET Breaks video, above.
