Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj have been showing off their love for one another on social media over the past week or so. It’s either been cute or annoying depending on how you look at it.

Well, they sort of did the same thing yesterday (November 2). Minaj took to Instagram and seemed to be steamed about someone’s loyalty. She posted a pic of Denzel Washington and the meme caption, “Never help an ungrateful person get on their feet. It’s like telling a wolf that you’re a sheep.”

Well, for whatever reason, this caught Meek’s attention. The Philly rapper decided to comment. “That’s why i make sure I stand on my own and was M’d up when I met you,” he wrote, followed by a bunch of praying hands and flexing emojis.

It’s almost as if Meek was checking in to make sure the sub-meme (or whatever you want to call it) was not about him. A lot of the people commenting believed the message was aimed at her former boo Safaree Samuels.
