It Gets Worse: Criminal Charges Could Be Coming Soon for Bill Cosby
The chips keep falling for Bill Cosby. One day after three more women came forward to join the chorus of women to accuse Cosby of sexually assaulted them, the comedian faces possible criminal charges from the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office.
An LAPD investigation of claims that Cosby drugged and sexually assaulted then-18-year old model Chloe Goins at a party at the Playboy Mansion in 2008 was formally passed over to the D.A.’s office on Thursday. “It is under review by the Sex Crimes division,” Jane Robison of the D.A.’s office confirmed. “We don’t talk about time, we don’t talk about deadlines.”
Goins' case is among the only ones that still falls within the statute of limitations. The comedy icon will also be deposed for a civil case brought on by Judy Huth, who was 15 at the time of her alleged attack, 41 years ago.
