The singer sets an alarm to remind her to drink water.
Alicia Keys has been busy promoting her latest album, Girl on Fire, but she recently took some time to share her beauty secrets and routines with BellaSugarTV. The singer, who's been into wearing makeup like lipstick and eyeliner ever since she was in the sixth grade, said she's a skin fanatic.
"I mean obviously I think we all are. We live in really dirty cities, naturally you have to wear makeup and you're working. It's a lot," Keys said. "That's a lot of wear and tear on your skin. My main thing is keeping it really clean and I try my best to just take everything off it at the end of the night."
And much like Gabrielle Union went on about the importance drinking enough water to keep your skin hydrated and aging beautifully, Keys also said she takes that tip seriously.
"I have set an alarm on my iPhone every two hours to drink water 'cause it's hard! It's hard to drink water and I realize that if I'm reminding myself to drink then I'm going to drink it better which is obviously better for your body and skin."
