A picture is worth 1000 words, and according to Adele, the image snapped of her with Chris Brown at Grammy Awards on Sunday were kind words.  

The British superstar took to Twitter yesterday to defuse the widely reported story that she was reprimanding the R&B star for not standing while Frank Ocean accepted a Grammy.

"Chris Brown and I were complimenting each other in that photo actually," Adele wrote.

All eyes were on Breezy Sunday night after he lost to his music rival, Ocean, in the "Best Contemporary Album" category. The bad blood that has boiled over of late between the singers made the competition for the Grammy that more intriguing. Though Brown did not stand during Ocean’s win, he did applaud in defeat.

Adele, who beat out Rihanna for Best Pop Solo performance, told Billboard she's in the very beginning stages of recording her follow-up to her diamond-selling sophomore album, 21.
