Tyrese Goes Old-School R&B on ‘Shame’
As Furious 7 continues on cruise control with over $1 billion at the box office, Tyrese is directing traffic to his new single. The singer-actor released the Jennifer Hudson-assisted track “Shame” this week.

The song plays like a good, old-fashioned R&B apology record, complete with some humble begging at the start. “I need your forgiveness and your mercy, too / I must be all kinds of crazy to do what I’ve done to you,” croons the 36-year-old, while Hudson’s vocals are heard on the chorus.
“Shame” will be featured on Tyrese’s upcoming Black Rose LP, and a movie project of the same name as the single.
