Snoop Dogg's Got A New Album Coming

He's also been working with Nipsey Hussle.

Snoop Dogg dropped his collaborative Bush album with Pharrell almost a year ago and it looks like he’s gearing up for another release.

According to Just Blaze’s Twitter account, the Doggfather has an album coming out in July. He also revealed through an Instagram video that Nipsey Hussle was working with Snoop and that he was being brought back to his 2001 producer steez in the process of recording some tracks for the two of them. You can hear an old school Snoop Doggy Dogg vibe from the instrumentals, which have us more excited than we would normally be otherwise.

“New album alert…” Blaze wrote during a series of tweets. “Right place right time, next thing, I got @NipseyHussle and @SnooopDogg in the booth trading bars. Got me engineering and recording vocals like its 2001 again.”

No word yet on a specific date in July for the album. Just Blaze produced “Lollipop” for Snoop’s 2002 album Paid tha Cost to Be da Bo$, and has other tracks with him dating back to the early 2000s. Expect a new single to come as we’re only months out from his new album’s scheduled release.
