Watch Kanye West Debut 'I Want It All' Freestyle at Powerhouse 2015

Plus Ludacris, Tinashe, Ty Dolla $ign and more hit the stage.

Before his heavily bleeped and booed Billboard Music Awards performance last night, Kanye West had a glorious censor-free headlining set at Powerhouse 2015 Saturday (May 16).

Producer Mike Dean held Yeezy down on the turntables as he spit through past and present heaters, despite being hoarse. The rundown included “All Day,” “Stronger,” “Gold Digger,” “Runaway,” “New Slaves” and “Heartless." During the latter, West kicked a new freestyle titled "I Want It All."

The infamous Yeezy rants were toned down by default. One of the few times 'Ye was able to talk at length was for a quick moment of reflection. “Nobody believed in this style of rap like 13 years ago because it was either like extra, extra conscious or extra, extra backpack,” he told a crowd of thousands at the Anaheim, Calif., Honda Center. “You couldn’t be like conscious and like Benzes and s**t, that was like completely new.”

As he jumped back into the set list, voice issues got the best of the Chicago MC by “Only One,” causing him to wrap up the single early. “Ya’ll see I got this tea and s**t, tryna do the best performance. I used to talk way more s**t but my voice is uh…” he said trailing off with a cup of tea in hand. The ironic juxtaposition of Yeezy sipping tea and wearing a bullet-proof vest wasn’t lost in translation either. “This tea cup f**king off the whole aesthetic and s**t,” joked West.

The lineup for Power 106’s yearly concert also featured Ludacris, Tinashe, Nipsey Hussle, Kid Ink, Ty Dolla $ign, Tech N9ne and B.O.B. (with a special appearance from girlfriend Sevyn Streeter).
