SMH: Stacey Dash Calls Jesse Williams a ‘Plantation Slave’ and Other Crazy Insults

The BET Awards has the commentator in a frenzy.

Jesse Williams's speech at the BET Awards on Sunday night was a pivotal moment for the Black community, so of course Stacey Dash is mad. The former actress and current conservative pundit took to her blog to share her thoughts about the Grey's Anatomy actor's unabashedly pro-Black remarks, and they're as bad as you think.
Maybe worse.

"I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: BET is keeping racism and segregation alive and this past Sunday’s awards show proves it," she began. So far, no surprises, considering how we know she feels about BET.
She continued, "Particularly the speech given by Grey’s Anatomy star Jesse Williams, whose tirade after receiving the 2016 BET Humanitarian Award for his black activism was nothing short of an attack on white people."
After walking through, and criticizing, various aspects of Williams's speech, she goes for the jugular: "You’ve just seen the perfect example of a HOLLYWOOD plantation slave! Sorry, Mr Williams. But the fact that you were standing on that stage at THOSE awards tells people you really don’t know what your talking about. Just spewing hate and anger."
HUH?
She wraps it up with this gem: "That chip on the shoulders of people like you will weigh you down and keep you from flying free. But true freedom is never free. You have to know how to fly. If anyone is making you feel this way its [sic] you. Living in a psychological prison of your own making. If anyone is GHETTO-IZING anyone, it’s people like you letting the BETs and other media outlets portray us in stereotypes."
Just... SMH. Read Stacey's full remarks (with a bottle of aspirin handy, if you're smart) here. And watch Jesse's truly amazing speech in full above. You be the judge as to who makes more sense.
