Love & Hip Hop stars Tammy Rivera and Waka Flocka hit a low point in their marriage this season after Waka admitted to cheating on his wife, but things seem to be getting better between the two. Now that their reconciliation is on track, the two appeared together on The Breakfast Club to talk about what's been going on behind the scenes.
After Waka came clean about the moment, he realized he needed to win Tammy back, saying, "I’m 30 years old. Finally when my wife leave me, it’s like ‘Damn, you start realizing that that’s the realest in your corner.'" Tammy revealed exactly how he managed to do it.
Asked when she decided to start answering his phone calls again after weeks of ignoring them (which lead to Waka pouring his heart out on social media), Tammy responds, "He said he’s gonna jump my fence, I had just moved into a new place and he said he was gonna jump my fence."
Then, she reveals, it was her 11-year-old daughter who helped her find a way to forgive him. "I keep it all the way real [with her]," Tammy says. "She said, ‘Mommy just forgive him’ and [I told her] as a woman there’s certain things you demand from a man in a relationship and there’s certain things you allow. If you allow someone to keep doing it, they’re gonna walk all over you, I don’t want you to think that it’s OK for a man to do certain things."
She continues, "It got to a point where she was like, ‘You always forgive him, just forgive him.'”
Looks like they're well on their way to being a family again.
