Prince's former muse Apollonia Kotero is finally ready to speak.
Kotero, who said at the time of Prince's passing that she was "too heartbroken" to make a statement, finally found the words to express her grief. Four months after the Purple One's passing, the actress posted a touching open letter detailing her feelings about the rock legend's death, writing that "the pain is unbearable, making it hard to breathe."
Kotero, who co-starred in Prince's Purple Rain, also surprised fans last night by making her first public appearance since his passing at a screening of the iconic rock musical in Los Angeles.
"I feel like your widow," she writes. "I see you everywhere. I see you in everything. I know you wanted to live. You were so happy to be getting your music back. You told me of all your plans. Your plans for me."
