Days after Teyana Taylor slayed the visual premiere for Kanye West's "Fade" at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards, it is being reported that she already has two more major gigs lined up.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Taylor has secured roles on VH1's hip hop drama The Breaks and game show Hip Hop Squares.
Taylor will play the recurring role of a rapper discovered by Nikki (played by Afton Williamson) who is signed to the label Barry Fouray (Wood Harris) is launching. The Breaks also stars the likes of Mack Wilds, Antoine Harris, Melonie Diaz and more and is set to premiere in 2017.
This will not be Taylor's first venture into the world of acting. She's starred in a few well-known films, including Stomp the Yard 2 and Madea's Big Happy Family.
Hip Hop Squares, which the triple threat is also set to feature on, is based on the iconic game show Hollywood Squares, with Ice Cube at its helm. Celebrity contestants will be tested on their pop culture knowledge while famous faces from the hip-hop genre appear throughout the show's season. Hip Hop Squares is expected to officially launch this fall.
