Drastic Measures: Inside Kim Kardashian's Insane Plan to Stay Safe After Robbery

Smart move, or too much?

Kim Kardashian's robbery at gun point in Paris last week has clearly rattled her to the core. Not only has the reality star ghosted on social media for six days and counting — a record for any KarJenner — she and her husband Kanye West are reportedly taking extremely drastic steps to ensure something like this never happens to them again.

According to UK newspaper The Mirror, the reality star and her rapper hubby have hired their own special forces troops and counter-terrorism experts to up their security game.
“They’ve decided to use their own experts as part of their security overhaul," a source says. "Some of them have worked for the world’s top intelligence agencies. If anyone can get to the bottom of what went on, these guys will."

The source adds, “For Kim, it’s about feeling safe. She needs to know that a security breach like this will never happen again. For Kanye, it’s about knowing exactly who is responsible.”
Apparently, there might be a big clue to give the team — and French investigators — a jump start. According to reports, a gemstone was found near the hotel where Kim was robbed, and may contain critical DNA evidence leading authorities to the armed robbers.
As for Kim's return to public life, that's still unclear. According to another source, Kanye is demanding that the queen of reality TV take it easy on social media, at least for the near future, and quit her show permanently. Indeed, production on Keeping Up With the Kardashians has been halted indefinitely.
