One of Steve Harvey's jokes on a recent episode of his daytime talk show fell flat with viewers due to its offensive nature.

During a segment where the comedian highlighted and mocked goofy self-help books, he brought up one titled How to Date a White Woman: A Practical Guide for Asian Men, and his commentary that followed really upset the Asian community.

After mentioning the book's title, Steve went into a monologue of sorts, joking that neither Black nor white women desire Asian men.

"That's one page, too!" he said. "'Excuse me, do you like Asian men?' No. 'Thank you.' How to Date a Black Woman: A Practical Guide [for] Asian Men. Same thing. 'You like Asian men?' I don't even like Chinese food. It don't stay with you no time... I don't eat what I can't pronounce."

During his uncomfortable delivery, the camera panned to an Asian woman who laughed along with the audience.
