Stacey Dash Is Making a Huge Career Change

Are her days as a conservative commentator over?

Stacey Dash found a cozy little post-Clueless career for herself as a conservative pundit willing to take any amount of dragging from the Black community in order to collect a check from Fox News.
Well, looks like she'll need to look for a new source of income this year, because that gravy train has reportedly come to a grinding halt.

According to a statement by the network, Fox News will not renew Dash's contract at the end of its term, meaning she won't get to be the "voice of Black America" on the conservative channel during Donald Trump's presidency. Pity!

  • Dash has been a commentator on Fox News since 2014, where she regularly spouted her conservative views — like the time she said there's no such thing as racism or prejudice in the media so we can go ahead and get rid of BET and the NAACP Image Awards:

  • Perhaps sensing she would soon be out of a job at Fox News, Dash appears to be actively lobbying for a role in the Trump Administration. Hey, if Omarosa can do it...

  • Lowkey, this is actually a bigger loss for Black Twitter than it seems to be for Fox News. Stacey inspired the best shade and side-eye the internet ever saw.
Like that time she tried to come for Beyoncé's mom:

  • And the time she called Jesse Williams a "Hollywood plantation slave" for his epic BET Awards speech:

  • And who can forget the time that she blamed the Orlando nightclub shooting on President Obama? Not this guy...

  • Well, you won't have ol' Stace to kick around anymore...unless you follow her on Twitter or read her blog, where the side-eye worthy commentary is still flowing. Still, it'll be interesting to see where Dash goes from here, without her biggest soapbox to stand on.
