Mel B and her estranged husband, Stephen Belafonte, have decided to call it quits after 10 years of marriage.

Recently, new details on their divorce were revealed and while the Spice Girls singer's fortune is protected due to their prenuptial agreement, she may still have to pay him millions due to a sacrifice he reportedly made for her in the past.

According to theJasmineBRAND.com, the America's Got Talent host and producer's reported $60 million empire may be safe, but she could end up paying $6.25 million to Belafonte in their divorce settlement because he reportedly put his career on hold to support hers.

"Mel is a canny Yorkshire lass and was advised to protect her assets and estate before the wedding," a source said. "This wasn't an act of preparing for the marriage to fail but was an act of a hard-nosed businesswoman who knew the pitfalls that can lie ahead in any relationship."

The long-standing former couple share a five-year-old daughter together named Madison.
