The unjust killing of Philando Castile still haunts the thoughts of many Black and brown Americans, and with the recent news that Minnesota police officer Jeronimo Yanez — who was responsible for Castile's July 2016 murder — was acquitted, several celebrities have taken to social media to express their outrage.

Yanez was acquitted on Friday of second-degree manslaughter and other charges in relation to Castile's shooting.

In addition to this, more recent details have emerged on the incident with dash cam footage showing Castile's fiancée, Diamond Reynolds, and their 4-year-old daughter in tears after the shooting.

The video showed Reynolds yelling in anger in the back of a police cruiser while her daughter cried, "Mom, please don't scream 'cause I don't want you to get shooted!"
