Kevin Hart Issues Public Apology To His Wife

This is surprising.

Kevin Hart made news on Saturday when the comedian and actor took to Instagram to issue a public apology to his wife, Eniko Parrish, and his kids for mistakes that the says he deeply regrets.

According to TMZ, the mistake Hart is referencing is related to a video in which it looks like Hart is cheating on his wife.

"I'm at a place in my life where I feel like I have a target on my back, and because of that I should make smart decisions and recently I didn't," Hart began. "I made a bad error in judgment and put myself in an environment where only bad things can happen and they did. In doing that I know that I am going to hurt the people closest to me, who I've talked to and apologized to. Being my wife and my kids."

He continued to say that while he regrets his actions, he won't give into financial threats. "At the end of the day, man, I just simply gotta do better, but I'm also not going to allow a person to have financial gain off of my mistakes and in this particular situation that's what was attempted. I said I'd rather fess up to my mistakes."

According to TMZ, a source close to the situation told the site that a woman allegedly demanded money from Hart after filming footage with the actor that included "sexually suggestive" conduct.

A rep for Hart told the site, "Someone tried to set Kevin up in a failed extortion attempt. As law enforcement is involved, we cannot comment further as it could affect the investigation."

It looks like instead of sitting on the sidelines, Hart wanted to take matters into his own hands.
