Kanye West on Kid Cudi: 'He’s the Most Influential Artist of the Past 10 Years'

Could their issues be a thing of the past?

G.O.O.D. Music and the rest of the hip-hop world was at a bit of a standstill when Kid Cudi decided to take aim at Drake and, more surprisingly, Kanye West, in a recent series of tweets. This had ‘Ye coming back at his own artist promptly with the same hostility.

Well, it looks like one side is ready to make amends as Kanye took to his “Saint Pablo” stage in Houston last night (September 20) and offered an olive branch.

In footage hitting the interwebs this morning, ‘Ye had well wishes and praise for Cudi, telling his Texas audience, “I just wanna take this time out to say Kid Cudi is my brother and I hope he’s doing well. He’s the most influential artist of the past 10 years.”

It’s unknown why Kanye West went from saying, “Don't ever mention 'Ye name. I birthed you,” to praising him less than one week later. He is a businessman, and having unhappy artists is bad for business (just ask Birdman).

Previously, Kid Cudi tweeted about how fickle he feels the music industry is and took aim and Kanye and Drake saying, “These n****s dont give a f**k about me. And they aint f****n with me.”

Check out footage of Kanye West’s praise of Kid Cudi below.
