Beanie Sigel, who stepped out in support of his fellow Philly native, was reportedly knocked out by Teefy Bey, an affiliate of Meek’s Dreamchasers crew. Video captured backstage during the Bad Boy Family Reunion tour’s stop in Philadelphia last Friday (September 23) shows the aftermath of what happened, however Sigel is clearly seen laying out silent.
The attack was likely in reaction to rumors that Beanie Sigel told Game some classified information about Meek and Dreamchasers. After it happened Teefy was dragged out of the venue by security. The bystander who shared the scene on Snapchat described his video as “Beanie Sigel got knocked out.”
That’s not where things ended either. Teefy Bey has claimed responsibility for the attack in a subsequent video that surfaced shortly after the KO. He spoke with HipHopSince1987 about what went down.
"Yeah I know about it," he jokingly said of the attack. "I think he passed out from his diabetic medication." Teefy then explained what prompted an assault on Sigel by saying he “broke the code of ethics on the streets” and went on to be "back-door n****s with Game," insinuating a breach in trust. They were also mad that Sigel claimed earlier in the day that he had no beef with Game.
What’s crazy about the assault is that it happened before Beanie Sigel was to go on stage and perform his 2001 hit, “Beanie (Mack B***h).” Even though the video shows Beans knocked out, he is seen getting up, so he must have shrugged it off and continued on.
