People Are Not Taking Drake Dissing Kid Cudi's Mental Health Lightly

Did he cross a line?

At times, Drake can be a sore loser. He's proven this to be true in countless ways, ranging from his various diss tracks to his occasional subliminal captions on Instagram.

Most recently, Kid Cudi made a comment that Drake and Kanye West "don't give a f**k" about him, and in the wake of that statement, Drizzy decided to fire back in his freshly premiered song, "Two Birds, One Stone."

However, given Kid Cudi's recent decision to check himself into rehab for depression and suicidal urges, the 6 God may have taken things a little bit too far.

"You were the man on the moon / Now you go through phases," Drizzy raps, during the verse in question. "Life of the angry and famous / Rap like I know I'm the greatest and give you the tropical flavors / Still never been on hiatus / You stay xan and perked up so when reality set in you don't gotta face it."

Considering how there is already a stigma surrounding mental health, and mental health in the Black community specifically, Drake's low blow at Cudi reinforces how mental illness is viewed as a flaw that is fair game to mock, instead of a disease that deserves to be taken (and treated) seriously.

Needless to say, Drake's new song has struck a nerve, even among those who identify as die-hard fans of the 6 God, with many taking to Twitter to express their outrage and stick up for Kid Cudi, and on a bigger level, those who may be suffering with a mental illness of their own.

Take a look at some of the reactions people have had since Drake debuted his new song in the tweets below.
