Young Thug Called Two Black Women 'Ants' for Not Taking $15K to Quit Their Jobs

SMH.

We wouldn’t call it generous per se, but Young Thug was feeling sarcastically charitable on Wednesday (Dec. 7) when he offered two young airport employees $15,000 each.

The rapper went about trying to stunt completely wrong and pissed off a certain demographic in the process.

In the video making its rounds online, the Jeffery rapper seems to poke fun at the two Black female employees after he claims they tried to make him miss his flight. Flashing a Bentley bag full of cash, he begins the video by explaining that he has attempted to offer the two unidentified employees $15,000 a piece if they quit their jobs.

Calling it a “surprise” for the two women, he walks to the counter as one of the ladies is heard saying, “You need to get me off of camera and you need to step away from this counter."

“These two ants are so rude,” he taunts. “Look — these two ants are so rude, they’re peasants! They’re saying their manager is on the way. I don’t want to talk to the manager. Y’all are ants. Your manager is a peasant. And y’all are ants.”

After following up with the cash offer, he tells them, “I’m giving you bums one more chance.” When the ladies refuse to entertain Thugger, he directs the person behind the camera to “sink in” on the Black woman’s hair.

“Their hair nappy as a motherf**ker,” he laughs. Before continuing the slander, he expresses his nonchalance toward the manager, who the employees have informed is on the way to hopefully diffuse the situation. Not to mention, he attempts to shame the women by saying they are "African-looking."

Not everyone found the situation to be as hilarious as Young Thug, however, and social media held a dragging session for Thugger. Noting that he was disrespectful not only to the employees but Black women as a whole for his comments on their hair and blatant mistreatment, many felt he owed the women an apology. Thereafter, the “Best Friend” rapper posted another video to his Instagram where he disappointedly tells fans that he couldn’t make his Seattle show due to being held at the airport following the incident, identifying the women this time as “civilians.”

“Seattle, man, I can’t make my show because I got into a little altercation in the airport with two civilians,” he explained. Consequently, he says, he wasn’t able to get on the flight.

It seems as if he caught wind of the social media backlash as well, as he took to Twitter to explain that his commentary toward the women was not intended for “all Black women,” despite his insults toward the young women’s “nappy hair.”

“By the way, that message wasn't to all my Black women,” he claimed. “It was to those two Black burnt women.”

Not sure if that was supposed to soften the blow, but you be the judge. Check out the video of Thugger’s airport altercation, fan and non-fan reactions and his Twitter response below.
