Here's How Ice Cube is Taking Action and Raising Money For Autism

He shares how the cause is a personal one for him.

Ice Cube has recently dipped back into his own music catalog, this time to breathe new life into his classic track "It Was a Good Day," revamping the single all for a good cause.

As reported, the rapper-turned-mogul has revisited the song in order to soundtrack a new campaign that is working to raise awareness of autism, a cause that he shares is very dear to him.

The new campaign, Autism Speaks, is in collaboration with a social merchandising and marking platform called Represent that enlists influencers to create and sell custom apparel. For their partnership, proceeds will go towards raising awareness about autism, as well as to help fund research and provide assistance for individuals who have autism.

"I’m proud to support the great work that Autism Speaks does, a cause that is so important to me," Ice Cube explains. "My goal through this campaign is to not only help raise awareness but to also support this great organization’s efforts in promoting solutions for the needs of individuals with autism and their families."

The campaign features an exclusive T-shirt design inspired by the music video for "It Was a Good Day" and will become available on March 7. For more information, visit here.
