DJ Khaled, Rihanna and Bryson Tiller Unleash 'Wild Thoughts'

The trio touched down in Little Haiti for a steamy ‘90s classic update.

Upon the release of DJ Khaled’s star-studded Grateful tracklist and the Instagram-ridden glee of the Rihanna vocals in for the album, there was no question that his 10th studio undertaking would be one for the music history books.

But before the official release of the project, fans everywhere can see what Khaled has been up to with bad gal RiRi and her TrapSoul crooning companion Bryson Tiller for the “Wild Thoughts” single and music video.

The track wastes no time preparing for radio and music chart favoritism as the Barbadian bad gal channels her inner “Maria Maria” of Carlos Santana’s 1999 classic single.

Complete with the original song’s signature electric guitar, RiRi’s sultry vocals perfectly complements the sweaty, art-struck scenery that possesses her “wild thoughts.” Khaled enlisted Pen Griffey to follow up the madness, meshing a few bars with calming R&B vocals in true TrapSoul taste. Other visual standouts find all three together, in their own artistic rights, grooving atop the song’s instrumentals beneath a starry night sky.

Khaled makes his way to the camera as well, coming in clutch with the ad-libs beside both of the song’s crooners. Co-written by OVO’s gifted penman PARTYNEXTDOOR, the song is the fourth single, behind “Shining,” “I’m the One” and “To the Max,” but the second visual release behind the single with Chance the Rapper, Justin Bieber, Quavo and Lil Wayne.
