Ja Rule Pleads Guilty to Tax Evasion

The Queens rapper failed to pay taxes on $3 million worth of income.

Ja Rule’s legal woes continue to pile up.

This week, the multiplatinum rapper pleaded guilty to charges that he failed to pay taxes on more than $3 million in income earned between 2004 and 2006. The government will dismiss similar charges for unpaid taxes on income earned in 2007 and 2008 as part of a plea agreement.

Rule will be sentenced on tax evasion charges in June.

The rapper faces sentencing that same month after pleading guilty to attempted weapon possession.
