Iyanla Vanzant "Very Happy" To Have Reconciled with Oprah

The spiritual teacher and author is also open to doing another television show.

Iyanla Vanzant is pleased with her two-part episode on The Oprah Winfrey Show.

The self-professed spiritual teacher and author who gained fame via her repeated appearances on the popular daytime talk show says she is glad she publicly reconciled with her old boss. Reflecting on her recent interview with Oprah, Vanzant told AOL Black Voices: “I was very happy about it because I believe that it was an opportunity to demonstrate to the world what is required to heal a breakdown in a relationship.”

The two reportedly had strife as soon as Vanzant announced plans of launching a daytime talk show with Barbara Walters. That talk show, called Iyanla, was cancelled after one season.

Following her highly publicized reunion with Oprah, some have wondered if Vanzant is angling to get another chance at her own show. On that question, Vanzant said: “Would I do television again? Absolutely. But, since I am a very different person, my goals would be different [and] my requirements would be different.”
