Actor and star of BET’s The Family Crews, Terry Crews, is often praised for his chiseled physique. In a new interview with Muscle & Fitness, he talked about his binge eating past and the better living habits he follows now. He recalled the time his wife made him realize just how out of shape he was.

He told the magazine, "The day my wife pinched my back fat blew me away.”  The fatter body was a result of a year-long binge eating habit that resulted in him packing on 30 extra pounds. The former football player for the NFL’s Los Angeles Rams was frustrated with his fledging career.

Wanting to shake the weight, Terry went in search of a plan on how to go about bettering his body. Crews added, "I had read a book somewhere that said if you do something for 21 days, it will become a habit and you can change your life.  So, for 21 days straight, I went to the gym. That 21-day promise was almost 13 years ago, and I've never stopped."

Now, a rising star, Terry is quite humble about his achievements. He told Muscle & Fitness, "I'm not supposed to be here.”
