Naturi Naughton Becomes a Playboy Bunny

Naturi Naughton is gearing up to don some bunny ears for her next role on NBC’s, The Playboy Club. The crime drama is set in 1960’s Chicago, where Naughton will play “Brenda,” a feisty woman who is determined to become the first African-American centerfold. 

It may sound like all fun and games, but Naughton did her research. The women on the show had to attend “bunny training,” where they learned how to walk, stand and basically become every man’s fantasy hostess.  She even connected with Black women who were among the first crop of bunnies.

Naughton told VIBE.com about her character, "My character Brenda is one of those ambitious, confident, sexy women of the time. It’s great to be represented in a way that shows that she’s got big dreams."
