Jennifer Lopez Expects to Sign Back On to Idol \r

The singer may ink the deal with the hit talent show for real this week

Ever since season 10 ended in May, American Idol fans have wondered if Jennifer Lopez will return to her seat as the lady-in-the-middle. The Hollywood Reporter says the wait may be over.

Although Steven Tyler re-signed a multi-year deal early on, and Randy Jackson has been a fixture on the show since it debuted in 2002, Lopez remained indecisive. The website states the dancer/singer received $12 million for last season but may want a raise.

Simon Cowell was reportedly making a whopping $35 million annually and word is the 41-year-old mother of two wants to get as close to that number as possible. If J. Lo does sign on the dotted line, this will be good news for the show, as well as fans. An executive affiliated with the show assures everyone there are “no dark clouds on the horizon.”
