Fantasia's Boyfriend Is Still Married

Fantasia may be starting a new chapter in her life with boyfriend Antwuan Cook, but the two have not completely escaped Cook’s past. Following the announcement that the two are expecting a child together comes confirmation that Antwuan is still legally married to his ex, Paula Cook. A source told Radar Online, “Antwaun told Paula that Fantasia was pregnant early on.”

The source added, “He wanted her to hear it from him before word got out in the press. Paula was really hurt when he left her for Fantasia, so it’s like the knife that was already in her back is being twisted now.” The still legally married couple isn’t done yet with their legal wrangling. The two will meet in court on August 10 in order to sort out their accurate date of separation.

Last year a judge ruled in favor of Antwuan about the start of their legal separation. However, that judge has since removed himself from the case. While in court last November, Fantasia testified and admitted to having been impregnated by Antwuan, but ultimately terminated the pregnancy.
