Rapper turned reality star lashes out at TV peers.
A couple of tweets from rapper, actor and reality star Ice-T have spawned cries of insensitivity. The star of the E! reality show Ice-T and Coco was asked about the suicide death of Russell Armstrong, husband of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member Taylor Armstrong. In response, Ice-T quipped, "Bad joke.. but alotta those wives would make me consider it." At the time of his death, Russell was estranged from his wife amid reports that he physically abused her.
The more inflammatory remarks, however, were made against the women who make up the cast of Basketball Wives. On that show, Ice-T wrote: "Speaking on Wives shows... Are any of the 'Basketball Wives' even married??? … So shouldn't it be called..Basketball Dumped Hoes'???… Hey! People love to call my wife a Hoe.... Well at least she is a WIFE."
Ice-T also made his thoughts about those who have reported on his remarks clear, too. In response to the initial reports, Ice-T tweeted, "The lack of people caring about REAL issues has caused the media to focus on dumb s--t like TWITTER comments.”
